Carrier Sales Representative - US Freight Brokerage (Full-Time, Remote)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central Time (10 PM - 6 AM Manila)

About the Role

Goodlane Logistics is a US-based freight brokerage looking for an experienced carrier sales representative to join our team. You'll be sourcing carriers for full truckload (FTL) shipments, negotiating
rates, and building our carrier network.

This is not a tracking-only or data entry role. You'll be on the phone and email with carriers daily, negotiating rates and closing deals.

What You'll Do

- Post loads to DAT and other load boards
- Respond to carrier inquiries and negotiate spot rates
- Cold call and email carriers to cover loads when needed
- Vet carriers using Highway, Carrier 411, or similar tools (MC age, authority status, insurance, safety record)
- Book carriers and manage rate confirmations
- Track shipments and communicate updates to the operations team
- Build and maintain a preferred carrier list over time

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in US FTL freight brokerage (not LTL, not freight forwarding)
- Hands-on experience with DAT load boards
- Experience with at least one TMS (Tai, Aljex, AscendTMS, Alvys, McLeod, etc.)
- Carrier vetting experience (Highway, Carrier 411, FMCSA)
- Strong English communication skills (phone and email)
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for calls

Nice to Have

- Experience with Highway for carrier verification
- Knowledge of rate negotiation by mileage and lane
- Track record of booking 5+ loads per day
- Experience working US hours from the Philippines
