Hello,
I would like a web scraping tool for Yelp. I would like a front end UI that has the following fields:
-Category
-Location
-How many pages to scrape
-Timeout Time
-Check box for "Do not load images"
-Checkbox for scrape until all pages are scraped
After the scraping is complete, I would like it exported to an Excel file with the following fields and formatted:
Name
Phone
Email
Area (This section usually is listed as a general area of the city such as "Industrial" or "Downtown"
Address
City
State
Zip
Website
Yelp URL
Word "Pay" Payment" or "Payment" in reviews? This logic should search all reviews, and if any of these words are in the reviews, then it should extract the review. If there are multiple reviews with this, then it should separate them within the cell with 10 pipe characters and 3 spaces on each side ||||||||||
Times Open (This should not be a field, but the following should be and formatted in two separate columns for open and close and formatted as xx:xx am or pm):
Sunday Open
Sunday Closed
Monday Open
Monday Closed
Tuesday Open
Tuesday Closed
Wednesday Open
Wednesday Closed
Thursday Open
Thursday Closed
Friday Open
Friday Closed
Saturday Open
Saturday Closed
I will provide an Excel template to ensure accuracy. Also, this should be a very lean program as to not bog down when running it. After the scrape, there will have to be formatting and parsing to get the address and times in the appropriate format. It should also have the ability to have multiple web proxies as to ensure proper scraping.
Thank You,
Jordan
