ABOUT US

Earth Moon Magick is a spiritual indie brand house creating oracle and tarot decks, journals, and divination tools. Our products are designed to help people reconnect with themselves through symbolism, beauty, and emotional resonance. We’re a remote team and we collaborate with artists worldwide.

We’re currently looking for a high quality AI Illustrator to help us create full decks with consistent, soulful, dreamy visuals — and to grow with us long-term.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create full oracle/tarot decks (44–88 final images per deck), using a mix between AI and photoshop, etc.
- Adapt prompts + style based on our art direction, theme, and moodboard (and contribute ideas!!)
- Maintain stylistic consistency across a full deck (characters, lighting, palette, composition, symbols)
- Refine outputs using a combination of tools when needed (Midjourney + ChatGPT / “Nano Banana” / other workflows)
- Create mockups / 3D-like visuals for marketing, previews, and presentations (any method/tools you prefer)
- Collaborate with our creative team and accept feedback with professionalism + ease
- Support multiple deck projects per year (goal: 4+ projects/year) once the collaboration is flowing

QUALIFICATIONS

Mandatory:
- Advanced Midjourney skills (prompting, style consistency, iteration, upscaling, variation control, etc.)
- Strong eye for art direction, composition, and storytelling
- Extremely creative and enthusiastic about this work
- Ability to consistently create images that feel mystical, feminine, dreamy, symbolic, and mature
- Ability to connect with a spiritually mature audience that appreciates soulful artistic storytelling.
- Excellent communication + reliability (meeting deadlines, updating progress, responding clearly)
- Comfortable showing your “behind the scenes” process (prompt evolution + iteration choices)

Preferred (nice to have):
- Experience creating cohesive series (decks, collections, character sets, story worlds)
- Familiarity with tarot/oracle symbolism and archetypes
- Mockup / graphic design experience (Photoshop, Canva, Figma, mockup tools, etc.)
- Ability to edit or enhance details post-generation (where needed)

EXPECTATIONS
(how good you need to be)

- You can hold one consistent visual universe across 50–80 images
- You understand that oracle/tarot art must carry emotion + meaning, not just look pretty
- You include the phrase “SILVER DOLPHIN” in the subject + top of your reply so we know you read the full description
- You can follow direction and problem-solve when something isn’t working
- You have the humility to ask questions when you don't know something
- You can iterate quickly while maintaining quality
- You communicate progress clearly (and collaborate along the way)

SALARY & HOURS

Starting at ~$600* USD/month (part-time, ongoing support + collaboration) (*salary can be adjusted, dependent on skill level). Opportunity for bonuses and pay advances depending on performance and growth within the company.
