WordPress Expert / Senior WordPress Developer – Project-based

We are a growing real estate company looking for a true WordPress ninja who can build and customize anything we throw at them – no limits, no “this can’t be done in WordPress” excuses.
What we need right now (and in future projects):

Full integration of our WordPress site with an external real estate CRM / MLS / property database (via REST API, SOAP, custom XML/JSON feeds, webhooks – whatever the source uses)
Real-time (or near real-time) synchronization of:
? property listings
? photos & virtual tours
? prices, availability, status changes
? coordinates & map data
? additional custom fields (renovation year, energy certificate, floor, etc.)
Automatic import + intelligent matching / deduplication logic
Custom property post type + taxonomies + ACF / Metabox / CPT UI fields
Advanced frontend search & filter system (multi-select, range sliders, AJAX live results, map + list view toggle)
Beautiful, fast, mobile-first property listing pages (single + archive)
Custom user dashboards / saved searches / favorite properties (frontend + backend)
Integration with popular map solutions (Google Maps, Mapbox, OpenStreetMap + Leaflet)
Performance & Core Web Vitals optimization on heavy listing sites (caching strategy, lazy loading, image optimization, database query tuning)
Security hardening + GDPR-friendly consent & data handling
Custom plugins / blocks / shortcodes when off-the-shelf solutions are not good enough

Nice to have (we’ll pay extra for these):

Experience with IDX / RETS / RESO Web API / Real Estate specific feeds
Membership / agency login areas with different permission levels
Lead generation forms ? CRM sync (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.)
Automated PDF floorplan / brochure generation
Chat / WhatsApp / callback request widgets with context (which property the user is viewing)

Cooperation model:

Strictly project-based (fixed price per milestone / per feature / per complete deliverable)
No hourly rate, no monthly retainer (unless we both decide later)
Remote work – complete freedom when & how you work
Regular short calls / Loom videos / Notion / ClickUp / Slack for communication

What we expect from you:

Portfolio with at least 3 complex WordPress + API integration projects (bonus if real estate related)
Ability to show live sites where you connected external databases / CRMs
Clean, well-documented code + readiness to hand over maintainable solutions
Proactive attitude – you suggest better / faster / more elegant ways
