Work Hours: Monday to Friday, either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time, or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time, with a 30-minute break

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and support accounts receivable operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing basic bookkeeping functions, and following up on outstanding customer payments in a professional and timely manner. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable communicating with customers regarding invoices and payment reminders. This is a remote position requiring strong accountability and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Record Management
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
Record daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Assist with monthly financial reporting
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
Accounts Receivable & Payment Follow-Ups
Generate and send invoices to customers
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports
Follow up on overdue invoices via
Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding balances
Track payment statuses and update records accordingly
Escalate payment issues when necessary
Administrative & Financial Support
Assist with basic financial reporting and data entry
Maintain organized digital financial files
Support leadership with bookkeeping-related tasks as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
At least 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience managing accounts receivable, including invoice tracking and payment follow-ups
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
