Social Media Content Creator for U.S. Law Firm (Video Editing + Writing)

We are a growing U.S.-based law firm looking for a skilled and dependable Social Media Content Creator to join our team long-term.

We create educational legal content for social media and need someone who can turn raw videos into engaging short-form content, create strong captions, and repurpose content into newsletters and blog posts.

We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced — not a beginner.

Part-Time - 20 hours per month to start

Must be available during U.S. business hours (Eastern Time) for communication

Long-term position with opportunity for growth

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

Editing short-form videos for:

- Instagram Reels

- TikTok

- YouTube Shorts

- Facebook

Adding:

- Captions/subtitles

- Hooks

- Transitions

- Branding elements

- Creating eye-catching thumbnails and cover graphics

- Writing engaging social media captions

Repurposing video content into:

- Weekly email newsletters

- SEO-friendly blog posts

- Assisting with content scheduling and organization

Required Skills & Experience

You MUST have:

- Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)

- Experience creating thumbnails (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)

- Excellent written English (grammar must be strong)

- Experience writing captions that drive engagement

- Experience writing newsletters and blog posts

- Understanding of social media trends and formatting

- Reliable internet connection

- Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Preferred (But Not Required)

- Experience working with U.S. companies

- Experience working with law firms or professional services

- Basic SEO knowledge for blog writing

- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, etc.)
