About the Role:
We are hiring a Paid Ads Specialist to manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns for our e-commerce business.
This role is focused on traffic acquisition, budget control, and performance tracking. You will be responsible for setting up, running, and optimizing paid ad campaigns to drive qualified traffic and measurable results.
This position is best suited for someone who prefers clear scope, data-driven execution, and measurable outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up, manage, and optimize paid ad campaigns on:
- Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max)
- Meta Ads
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and ad creative testing
- Monitor and control ad spend to stay within approved budgets
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including: ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPC
- Identify top-performing products, keywords, and audiences
- Optimize campaigns based on performance data
- Provide clear, structured performance reports on a bi-weekly basis
What This Job Is NOT:
- No website development or theme editing
- No Shopify backend access required
- No content writing or graphic design
- No social media posting or community management
- No branding or creative direction
This is a paid advertising execution role.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and/or Meta Ads
- Experience running ads for e-commerce products
- Strong understanding of paid advertising metrics and optimization
- Ability to manage budgets carefully and prevent overspending
- Comfortable starting with test budgets and scaling responsibly
- Clear communication and reporting skills
- Reliable availability and follow-through
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience advertising physical products (home improvments)
- Familiarity with Shopify-based stores
- Experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Experience working with structured reporting requirements
Work Expectations
- Budgets and scope are defined in advance
- Spend must stay within approved limits
- Performance is reported clearly, honestly, and consistently
- Provide detailed, easy-to-read, performance-driven KPI reports on a weekly basis
- Reports must include measurable results (e.g., spend, ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPC) and clear observations
- Willingness to pause or adjust campaigns based on results
- Long-term, stable working relationship preferred
- Collaborate with developer and designer by providing clear performance feedback and requirements related to paid advertising
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Available during US business hours to respond to urgent or time-sensitive issues affecting live campaigns (proivde minimum 1-2 daily overlap hours)
- Highly organized, able to execute on focused tasks, and deliver measurable results
