About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable Shopify Developer to handle ongoing Shopify development, maintenance, and improvements for our live production store.

This role is focused on execution, stability, and accuracy. You will implement changes based on clear instructions, best-practice checklists, and documented requirements, with an emphasis on protecting site performance and conversion stability.

Clear instructions and priorities will be provided for each task; therefore this position is ideal for a developer who prefers structured tasks, clear boundaries, and long-term stability.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Maintain and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement site updates and improvements exactly as specified
- Audit pages for basic best-practice compliance and fix clear issues
- Support:
• Product pages
• Collection pages
• Navigation and menus
• Product filters and tags
- Clean up and organize tags, collections, and metafields when instructed
- Install, configure, and maintain Shopify apps
- Identify and resolve theme or app conflicts
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
- Test all changes thoroughly before publishing
- Maintain theme backups before major changes
- Execute tasks on time and on schedule

What This Job Is NOT:

- No ad management
- No SEO or marketing strategy
- No graphic design or branding
- No business decision-making
- No content writing
- This is a technical Shopify execution role only.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience with Shopify (Liquid)
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working on live Shopify stores
- Attention to detail and cautious deployment habits
- Ability to follow instructions and documented processes
- Clear communication and reliability
- Strong organizational skills and task tracking
- Ability to execute tasks on time and within scope
- Good habits of checking work and testing changes after implementation

Nice to Have:

- Shopify speed optimization experience
- Metafields and custom sections
- Experience with inventory-heavy e-commerce stores
