JOB OVERVIEW

Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js + Strapi)

Product: ---------- + Internal Talent CRM
Location: Remote
Compensation: Starting at $5,000/month (flexible based on experience)

?

About the Company

---------- is a digital talent scouting platform that connects aspiring models with agencies and industry scouts worldwide. The business relies on a public-facing submission platform and a private CRM used to review applications, manage talent profiles, track outreach, and support placements.

We’re looking for an engineer who can help strengthen and scale both systems.

?

The Role

You will own development across:
1. Public Platform ( ---------- )
• Model profile submissions
• Media uploads
• Application workflows
• SEO-friendly content pages
• Performance and scalability
2. Internal CRM
• Talent pipeline management
• Review and scoring workflows
• Agency matching and tracking
• Role-based access controls
• Admin dashboards and reporting

This is a high-ownership role. You will work directly with stakeholders to ship production-ready features quickly and cleanly.

?

Tech Stack
• Frontend: Next.js (SSR, SSG, API routes)
• Backend: Strapi (custom controllers, permissions, content modeling)
• Database: PostgreSQL (preferred)
• Hosting: Vercel / AWS (or similar)
• Integrations: Payments, email automation, file storage

?

What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Designing clean content models in Strapi
• Building secure APIs for application and CRM workflows
• Implementing role-based permissions for internal users
• Optimizing media handling (photo uploads, compression, storage)
• Improving performance and SEO
• Maintaining scalable architecture as submissions grow
• Refactoring legacy code when needed

?

What We’re Looking For

Required
• 3+ years experience with Next.js
• Strong hands-on experience with Strapi (customization beyond basic CMS use)
• Solid Node.js and REST API design experience
• Experience building internal tools or CRMs
• Database schema design experience
• Strong understanding of authentication and access control
• Ability to own features end-to-end

Nice to Have
• Experience building marketplace platforms
• Experience handling media-heavy platforms
• Knowledge of SEO and SSR performance tuning
• DevOps and CI/CD familiarity

?

Ideal Candidate
• Thinks like a product owner, not just a coder
• Comfortable working independently
• Writes clean, maintainable code
• Understands business workflows, not just technical tasks
• Can improve architecture, not just execute tickets

?

Why This Role
• Direct impact on a revenue-generating platform
• Ownership across both customer-facing and internal systems
• Opportunity to architect a scalable CRM from the ground up
• Competitive compensation with growth potential
