Grant Writer / Researcher / Proposal Coordinator

Schedule:Flexible
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm U.S. Central Time (9pm–6am Manila) OR flexible async with 2-hour overlap

Salary: To Be Discussed (based on experience)

About the Work

We help men and women in Louisiana rebuild their lives after addiction, jail, or homelessness. We need a detail-oriented writer to find grant opportunities and prepare applications.

Must-Have Skills

• Excellent English writing (American style)

• Grant research experience (Foundation Directory Online, ---------- , ---------- )

• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel

• Reliable internet (10+ Mbps), backup power, quiet space

Nice-to-Have

• Previous U.S. nonprofit or grant writing experience

• Understanding of homelessness, reentry, or recovery services

• Canva or basic graphic design for attachments





1. Resume with grant writing experience highlighted

2. Writing sample: 300-word "problem statement" for a homeless shelter (original work)

3. Screenshot of internet speed test

4. Voice message (30 sec): Introduce yourself and why this mission interests you
