HR/Medicare Licensing & Contracting Specialist

???? The Role
Davis Capital is a fast-growing US-based Medicare insurance sales agency. We are hiring a Medicare Licensing & Contracting Specialist who understands the backend of Medicare operations — not just HR theory.

This role is for someone who has real experience handling Medicare agent licensing, carrier contracting, and compliance.

If you have worked directly with Humana, Wellcare, Devoted, UHC, Aetna, Cigna, or similar carriers — keep reading.

This is a leadership seat inside the company. Not an assistant role.
???? Core Responsibility (80%) – Medicare Licensing & Carrier Contracting
You will own the entire licensing and contracting pipeline.
You must already understand:
State insurance licensing (resident & non-resident)
AHIP certification
FFM registration (if applicable)
Ready-to-Sell (RTS) status
Carrier portal navigation
Contracting hierarchies (upline/downline structures)
Release letters & transfers
Preventing agents from going “dark” during AEP/OEP

You will:
Manage agent onboarding from hire ? fully contracted ? RTS
Communicate directly with carriers (Humana, Wellcare, Devoted, etc.)
Track license renewals & CE compliance
Audit agent status weekly
Ensure zero delays in production due to compliance gaps
Maintain accurate records inside Spark / Sunfire

???? Secondary Responsibility (20%) – Culture & Leadership
We are performance-driven, but culture matters.
You will:
Oversee onboarding experience
Maintain systems in BambooHR
Help coordinate internal engagement initiatives
Partner with leadership to ensure smooth operations

Hands-on experience is required.
