JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly capable Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant to support a growing Australian retail fashion brand.
This role is ideal for someone who understands fashion branding, customer psychology, and digital growth — someone who can both build brand presence and generate leads through strategic content, landing pages, campaigns, and performance marketing.
You will work closely with the founder and the Digital Marketing Manager to execute marketing strategies, build brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue growth. This is a part-time role with a clear pathway to full-time for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Brand Execution
• Create and manage engaging content across social media, email, blogs, and short-form video
• Develop and maintain consistent brand voice and positioning across all digital channels
• Plan and schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
• Create campaign assets including graphics, email creatives, landing pages, and promotional materials
• Track engagement, traffic, and conversion metrics and optimise performance
Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition
• Create lead magnets, landing pages, and funnels to generate customer leads
• Support customer list growth through campaigns, collaborations, and strategic initiatives
• Assist in developing email flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back)
• Support influencer outreach and brand collaborations where applicable
• Support in identifying and testing new customer acquisition strategies
CRM, Email & Campaign Support
• Assist in managing CRM and email platforms (segmentation, flows, reporting)
• Assist in executing and optimising email marketing campaigns
• Support paid ad campaigns (Meta, Google, etc.) where required
• Analyse campaign results and provide data-driven recommendations

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 3+ years of digital marketing experience, ideally within retail, fashion, or e-commerce
• Strong understanding of customer acquisition and marketing funnels
• Hands-on experience in content creation (written, visual, and short-form video)
• Proficiency in Canva and basic video editing tools
• Experience managing email marketing platforms (e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)
• Ability to create and optimise landing pages and lead generation assets
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity
• Comfortable working with analytics and performance metrics
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to execute independently
• Strong attention to detail and brand consistency

Nice to Have
• Experience in retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools (advantage but not mandatory)
• Experience working directly with founders or small leadership teams
• Experience in fast-growing or early-stage environments
