JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a hands-on Google Ads specialist with strong experience in service businesses / coaching funnels to do a short, focused mission:

~10 hours total to audit + fix tracking + stabilize CPL + clean up account structure

then 1 hour/week ongoing maintenance (reporting + optimizations + testing plan)

This is for SOLV Languages, a French coaching business. Our focus is “autonomy-first, conversation-focused learning.” Core offer: 30/90 Program. The funnel is ads ? lead/booking ? call ? sale.

What I need help with (current issues)

CPL increased a lot after running the same ad angle for too long (likely fatigue / audience saturation / structure issues).

I launched a new very targeted campaign (50+ rural expats in France) and changed conversion tracking… now I’m seeing almost no conversions after a few days and I’m worried tracking or optimization is wrong.

I’m not confident the tracking is reliable (GA4/GTM/Google Ads conversions/attribution). I need a clean, simple setup and clarity on what to optimize for.

I’m considering adding Meta later, but right now I need a strong Google Ads foundation.

Main goal

Get to a reliable, measurable lead-gen system with stable CPL and clear next steps for scaling.

Scope of the 10-hour mission (deliverables)

By the end of the mission, you’ll deliver:

1) Tracking & Conversion Audit (must-have)

Review Google Ads conversion actions, GA4, GTM, and booking flow

Confirm conversions fire correctly (tests + sanity checks)

Fix or recommend the right conversion hierarchy (primary vs secondary)

Make sure we’re not starving the algo with a conversion that’s too rare

2) Account & Campaign Structure Cleanup

Diagnose what caused the CPL spike (fatigue, targeting, learning limits, bidding, budget spread, keyword match types, negatives, etc.)

Recommend and implement a clean structure (Search + YouTube where relevant)

Ensure the account is easy to optimize moving forward (not overly complex)

3) Optimization Plan (simple and actionable)

What to pause / keep / rebuild

What tests to run first (ads, audiences, offers, landing page hooks)

A short roadmap for the next 2–4 weeks

4) A short written report + Loom walkthrough

1–2 pages max (or a clear Notion doc)

Loom video explaining changes, why, and what you’ll do next

Ongoing maintenance (1 hour/week)

Weekly check: budgets, search terms, negatives, placements, bid strategy, ad performance

3–5 bullet update: what happened, what you changed, what we’ll test next

Keep tracking healthy and performance stable

Platforms / skills required

Must have:

Google Ads (Search + YouTube) lead-gen for service businesses/coaching

Strong tracking: GA4 + GTM + conversion setup & troubleshooting

Ability to explain clearly and keep things simple

Nice to have:

Experience with booking funnels (Calendly / appointment systems)

Landing page optimization instincts

Meta ads perspective (optional)

What I’m looking for (non-negotiables)

You’ve run Google Ads for online services/coaching (not only ecommerce)

You know how to make YouTube ads work for lead-gen (not just awareness)

You can identify signal vs noise fast and move confidently

You’re policy-compliant and don’t use shady hacks

To apply (please answer these)

What’s your experience with coaching/service businesses and lead-gen funnels? Share 1–2 examples (numbers are welcome).

What’s your approach to YouTube ads for leads? (targeting + creative + conversion strategy)

How do you decide which conversion to optimize for when booked calls are low volume?

What would you do in the first 2 hours inside my account?

Your availability: can you start this week?

Budget / working style

Initial mission: ~10 hours (fixed scope, outcome-focused)

Ongoing: 1 hour/week
