Short-Form Video Editor for Home Renovation & Lifestyle Brand (Part-Time)
I run a marketing consultancy (Strategy Studio) alongside a growing home renovation personal brand on TikTok.
Over the past 6–8 months, I’ve built up a large library of high-quality renovation footage that hasn’t yet been edited — and I’m now looking for a reliable, creative short-form video editor to help bring it to life.
This role is focused specifically on my home renovation content (not client work).
What You’ll Be Doing
Month 1 will focus on:
• Organising and categorising a large Google Drive video library
• Identifying strong transformation / before & after
• Creating rough cuts optimised for TikTok
• Studying my existing content style and replicating pacing + tone
Ongoing (if a good fit):
• Producing consistent short-form edits each month
• Suggesting improvements to hook structure and retention
• Light caption formatting
• Helping maintain consistency and posting rhythm
The Style
The content is:
• Clean
• Aesthetic
• Renovation-focused
• Before / After driven
• Minimal but engaging
• Not over-edited
• Strong hooks, tight pacing
Think organic TikTok — not corporate.
What I’m Looking For
• Strong CapCut or similar short-form editing skills
• Understanding of TikTok pacing + retention
• Ability to work independently once direction is clear
• Organised and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working with large volumes of footage
• Good written English
Bonus (not essential):
• Canva experience
• Basic understanding of social media analytics
Important
This is not an hourly micromanaged role.
I care about output and quality — not time tracking.
The workload will be agreed based on capacity and skill level.
To Apply
Please send:
1. 3 examples of short-form edits (TikTok/Reels style)
2. A short paragraph explaining how you would organise a large raw footage library
3. Your monthly rate expectation
4. Confirmation you’re open to a small paid trial task
This role has strong potential to grow long-term if we’re a good fit.
I’m looking for someone who wants to grow with the brand, not just complete tasks.
