N8N Automation Specialist

We are currently looking for an N8N Automation Specialist to help us build our automation system from the ground up.
Context

At the ---------- nt, we do not have any automation in place. Our goal is to design and build a structured automation workflow that will support and scale our operations long-term.

Responsibilities
Build and optimize workflows inside N8N
Connect N8N with external platforms such as Slack, SmartSuite, CRM systems, and invoicing tools
Create automation for PDF document generation (e.g., invoices and proforma invoices)
Build automation systems that include checkpoints for human verification before critical actions (e.g., invoice sending, status changes, approvals)

What We Are Looking For
Strong logical thinking and system design mindset
Someone who understands the entire system first before building
Not someone who only follows instructions, but someone who can analyze and improve
Ability to suggest better tools or better architecture if needed
Clean and structured workflow building
Bonus
Experience connecting to multiple API’s or sofwares i.e. SmartSuite, Slack, ClickUp, and CRMs.
We are building this for long-term scalability. We want someone who thinks in systems, not just tasks.
