SEO Director / SEO Systems Builder (Digital Marketing Agency)

???? Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a high-level SEO expert who doesn’t just “do SEO” — but can build and systemize an SEO department from the ground up.

This role is for someone strategic. Someone who understands ranking mechanics, but also understands process, scalability, productization, and client deliverables.

You will help us:

• Build our SEO service structure
• Create SOPs and workflows
• Define deliverables and reporting standards
• Help shape pricing and packaging
• Lead execution once systems are built

This is not a beginner role. We need someone who can architect, not just execute.

???? Responsibilities

• Develop our full SEO service offering (Local, On-Page, Technical, Content, etc.)
• Build step-by-step SOPs for all SEO processes
• Create scalable workflows for team delegation
• Define what clients receive (reports, audits, dashboards, timelines)
• Establish SEO reporting standards and KPI tracking
• Help build fulfillment capacity (future team structure)
• Oversee strategy for client accounts

???? Qualifications

• 5+ years proven SEO experience
• Experience ranking real businesses (show proof/results)
• Experience building SEO systems or departments preferred
• Strong understanding of Local SEO + Technical SEO
• Strong understanding of on-page optimization + content strategy
• Familiar with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GSC, GA4
• Strong documentation and process-building ability
• Strategic thinker (not just task executor)
