JOB OVERVIEW

POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Clerk is responsible for obtaining, processing, and reporting data related to production performance, customer returns, core and raw material inventory accuracy, work order issuing and closing, and providing accurate shipping information in our ERP system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Report daily planned and completed production orders
· Create and close work orders as needed
· Create work order travelers that will accompany the work order from core issue to packing complete
· Report daily shipments received to management and sales customer service team
· Perform and report discrepancies in orders received compared to the return orders
· Work with the customer service team on adjustments and processing the orders in the system
· Perform transferring of the returns in the ERP system
· Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required)

· Preferred: High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; 2+ years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook and ERP systems
· Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities
· Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction
· Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
· Exhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environment
· Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills Education
· Required: Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial/Manufacturing, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

· Required: 4–6 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment supporting production, inventory, or shipping activities.
· Demonstrated experience working in an ERP system to create, issue, transfer, and close work orders and/or process shipments and returns.
· Proven experience performing inventory transactions and cycle counts, including investigating and resolving discrepancies. Skills & Competencies
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); able to create and maintain basic reports and logs.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
· Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrated ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to direction and feedback from management.
