SEO Assistant – $5/hour to Start (Remote, Long-Term, Growth Opportunity)

Tradesmen Agency is a performance-focused marketing team working across multiple internal businesses and high-ticket client campaigns.

We're hiring a reliable SEO Assistant who can help execute and support real SEO work, from audits to keyword research to content optimization. This role starts at $5/hour, with potential for larger project-based contracts as we grow.

We are not hiring overpriced freelancers, consultants, or marketers who want to "manage strategy." We’re looking for operators, people who want to do real work, improve consistently, and earn their way up.

???? What You’ll Start With (Weekly SEO Tasks)

Run audits with Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GSC

Assist in keyword research and clustering

Help build and update content briefs

Optimize on-page elements (title, meta, H1s, internal links)

Document backlink opportunities in Google Sheets

Assist with tracking rankings, indexing, and performance reports

Support SOP development in Notion

???? You’re a Fit If You:

Understand basic SEO principles (on-page, keywords, content, links)

Can use SEO tools like GSC, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Surfer, or similar

Communicate clearly and reliably (Slack, Loom, Docs)

Can follow SOPs but aren’t afraid to ask smart questions

Work well independently, async, and without constant supervision

Want to grow into larger roles and prove your value

Paid weekly via Wise or PayPal

All communication is async (Slack, Loom, Notion, Sheets)

You check Slack at least 2–3x per week

You hit deadlines and update proactively

You ask smart questions, offer suggestions, and care about results

You will work across multiple sites, niches, and campaign types
