We are currently seeking a talented video editor to join our team and produce high-quality long form content for our Youtube Channel, which focus on public challenges, fitness, lifestyle, and motivation. The successful candidate should possess strong editing skills, have a deep understanding of how to maximize views and engagement, and have a high level of English, so they can include banter and cultural references in the videos.
We are looking for someone who can create and post multiple Youtube videos per week that typically span from 8 to 30 minutes in run time. The expectation for videos created and posted will vary based channel growth and direction.
The perfect candidate will be able to create binge-worthy content that keeps viewers engaged, adhere to tight deadlines, and deliver quality work with minimal revisions. They should be organized, communicative, and be able to work quickly. You should be able to deliver items through Frame.io, Capcut, or Google Drive (We will provide access). Having a good sense of humor is a bonus.
You should add sound effects and background music where applicable, and source and use copyright-free clips and stock footage to use licensed clips. The videos should be edited in a binge-worthy style and be at least 1080p HD, with lower-thirds, text, and transitions where necessary. We expect you to work only with professional video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut, Davinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
You will be required to submit a mini sample. We want to see your skills on display! Use the raw footage provided to edit the beginning of a Youtube Video called "Win $1 Per Push-up". As you will see in the raw footage, the video is about a public challenge where people win $1 for every push-up completed. The sample should be at least 30 seconds. Use the examples below to get an idea of the pace desired.
