JOB OVERVIEW

Senior Video Editor for DTC Brand - STABI
**Remote | Full-Time | $1,700–$2,500 USD Monthly Base + Performance Incentives**

At most eCom teams, “Video Editor” really means…
You’re handed messy footage, unclear direction, last-minute requests - and somehow you’re expected to create a “winning ad” with zero context.

You end up doing a lot of editing, but not much high-quality execution.

We know because we’ve been there.
***And Spoiler Alert: It wasn’t for us.

So instead of guessing what the creative team wants, what if you got clean briefs, clear messaging, and actual tools that help you move faster?

A company that provides systems like ReCharm (video organization) and ---------- (video feedback) so you’re not wasting time in messy Google Drive folders - and can focus on what matters: shipping great edits, on time.

Fun right?

Well, that’s exactly what the Senior Video Editor role at STABI is all about.

We’re Australia’s fastest-growing footwear brand (selling primarily worldwide). For privacy reasons, we’ve hidden the brand name in this posting - but you’ll be solely focused on one brand, not multiple clients.
-----------------
About Us

We’re STABI — a performance-driven footwear DTC brand. Last year, we did 8-figures USD in revenue, and we’re scaling aggressively through world-class creative and marketing execution.

This is not an agency role.
You’ll be solely focused on our brand, our ads, and our growth.
-----------------
The Role: What You’ll Own

As a Senior Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for executing ad briefs from our creative team and applying the finishing touches that make the message land.

This is not “just clip cutting.”
This is marketing-first editing - where hooks, pacing, structure, clarity, and proof make or break performance.

Important: 99% of our videos are under 1.5 minutes.
Speed and timeliness matter - we move fast, and on-time delivery is non-negotiable.

-----------------

Your Core Responsibilities:

Onboarding

• Learn our brand style, creative standards, and winning ad patterns.
• Get up to speed with our workflow tools: ReCharm (video organization) + ---------- (feedback).

Ongoing

• Edit 5–10 ad briefs per week (performance ad creatives for paid social).
• Edit exclusively in CapCut (required).
• Use Video AI generation tools to support ad production (required).
• Turn scripts into high-quality voiceovers using ElevenLabs (required) and integrate them into final edits.
• Upload & organise edited ads inside ReCharm (no messy Google Drive workflows).
• Collaborate with Copywriters & Creative Directors to ensure concepts are executed correctly.
• Listen to feedback and iterate fast using ---------- .
• Learn our Ads Strategy so you understand what makes “Winning” vs “Losing” ads.
• Complete a weekly 30-minute ad analysis + review on concepts you’ve worked on.

-----------------

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Experience:

• 1+ year editing performance ads (eCommerce preferred).
• CapCut experience is mandatory (we do not use Adobe). [Vertical video formats (9:16)]
• Video AI generation experience is mandatory (include tools/workflows you’ve used).
• Experience editing UGC + direct response style creatives.
• Experience with ElevenLabs and turning scripts into voiceovers (required).
• Strong organisation + file hygiene (naming systems, specs, exports, versions).

Must-Have Traits:

• Fast + reliable: you hit deadlines without being chased.
• Excruciating attention to detail (the small stuff matters here).
• Strong creative instincts and visual storytelling ability.
• Great communicator - proactive, responsive, and coachable. Advanced English Comprehension.
• You can move quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Strong understanding of Meta ad creatives

-----------------

Bonuses (Nice to Have):

• Experience editing for a footwear product (or apparel/accessories).
• Basic knowledge of copywriting / direct-response principles (hooks, proof, objections).
• Strong in Canva graphic design (Static DTC Ads - simple overlays, captions, product callouts, layouts).

-----------------

This is NOT for you if:

• You don’t enjoy editing content daily.
• You struggle with deadlines or need constant follow-ups.
• You’re unorganised or sloppy with file management.
• You dislike feedback loops and iteration.
• You don’t understand (or don’t want to learn) performance creative.

------------------

Hours

• M–F | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST (flexible) (we can figure this out together)

------------------

Growth Potential

At STABI, we value growth and development. With great performance, your upside is significant:

• Priority on editing the best concepts and receiving the bulk of creative requests.
• Performance bonuses based on output, speed, and creative results.
• Opportunity to grow into a Lead Editor / Creative Strategist role over time.

-----------------

***TO APPLY, SEND BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING (IMPORTANT):***

1. A 2–4 minute Loom video introducing yourself + your experience, and sharing your highest-spend ads with key metrics (ROAS, hook rate, etc.). (Addressed to Danielle - Not a past recording)

2. 2–5 examples of performance ads you’ve edited (Facebook/Instagram links preferred).

Next steps (if selected):

• You’ll receive a paid editing test task (brief + feedback).
• If the test looks good, we’ll book a final interview.

If you want to edit high-performing ads for a proven 8-figure footwear brand—with clean briefs, faster workflows, and a team that values speed + quality—apply now.

•••No Loom addressed to Danielle + no ad examples = not considered.•••
