JOB OVERVIEW

We’re building a tabletop card game brand and are looking for a highly creative video editor to help us produce engaging short-form content.

This role is not about AI-generated videos, templates, or generic trends. We want someone who understands people, attention, and storytelling, especially how to hook viewers in the first 3 seconds.

What you’ll be doing:
- Studying our website, brand, and audience to understand what makes the card game compelling
- Suggesting short-form video ideas for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Identifying strong hooks, angles and narratives that stop people from scrolling
- Watching long videos (playthroughs, reviews, behind-the-scenes) and pulling out the most interesting ---------- nts
- Turning raw footage into engaging, punchy clips (where required)
- Occasionally creating ad-style creatives for paid campaigns (bonus, not required)

What we’re looking for:
- Someone genuinely creative with strong instincts for short-form content
- Clear understanding of audience psychology and attention economics
- Experience creating or editing short-form videos that perform well
- Comfortable working from existing footage and spotting “ ---------- nts”
- No AI-generated content, human creativity only

Bonus
- Interest in board games, card games, or strategy games is a big plus
- Experience in making ad creatives for marketing

This role is ideal for someone who:
- Enjoys analysing content and reverse-engineering why it works
- Can explain why an idea would grab attention, not just what the idea is
- Thinks in hooks, pacing, and payoff rather than trends alone

** IN YOUR RESPONSE PLEASE INCLUDE EXAMPLES OF SHORT-FORM CONTENT YOU'VE CREATED AND WHAT YOU WOULD PERSONALLY DO TO HELP THIS BRAND GROW USING VIDEO **

We care more about your thinking and creativity than your CV.
