We are looking for an experienced video editor with a strong sense of storytelling to turn long-form travel vlogs into high-retention, raw-style short videos.
This role is ideal for editors with backgrounds in documentary editing, YouTube storytelling, interviews, or podcast clips who understand pacing, restraint, and when to let
This is not a beginner role. Please do not apply if you do not already have experience editing content focused on narrative, dialogue, and natural pacing.
This is not a flashy edit role.
No music, no color grading, no heavy effects.
This role is about judgment, pacing, hooks, and storytelling.

Requirements
* Proven experience editing narrative-driven content such as YouTube videos, documentaries, interviews, or podcast clips
* Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, and viewer curiosity
* Ability to find
* Comfortable working from long-form footage
* Fluent in English
* Reliable turnaround times
* Experience with travel or vlog content is a big plus
* High speed internet for downloading and uploading video files
* Laptop or desktop with sufficient storage space

Pay structure (per short, not hourly)
We pay per finished short, based on monthly volume ranges.
Monthly volume is agreed in advance and locked for that month.
Per month rates:
30 to 40 shorts: $8 per short
41 to 60 shorts: $7.50 per short
61 to 80 shorts: $7 per short
81 to 100 shorts: $6.50 per short
Rates are not recalculated mid-month.
Tier can change month to month if volume changes.
