Role: Meta Ads Video Editor (E-commerce) — Ad-Hoc / On-Call

This role is not just editing from briefs.
You must be comfortable:
Working from clear briefs when provided
Independently creating ad concepts using our existing content library (UGC, product clips, lifestyle footage)
What you’ll do
Editing & execution
Edit short-form Meta ads (6–45 seconds)
Strong 1–3 second hooks
Fast pacing, pattern interrupts, clean structure
On-screen captions (mobile-first, readable, Meta-safe)
Export ads in correct formats (9:16, 4:5, 1:1)
Creative & concepting
Come up with original ad concepts using our content database
Turn one idea into multiple testable variations
Propose hooks, angles, and structures for cold traffic
Improve or iterate ads based on feedback or performance
Must-have skills
Proven experience editing Meta ads for e-commerce
Strong understanding of direct-response editing (not cinematic reels)
Comfortable creating ad concepts from scratch
Can also follow briefs exactly when required
Fast turnaround and open to iteration
Bonus skills (nice to have)
UGC-style ad experience
CRO or performance mindset
Familiar with Meta ad policies
Experience with health, wellness, or physical products
Can explain why an ad might perform well
Performance bonus (important)
We offer a $25 USD bonus for winning ad concepts / creations.
This applies only to ads that:
Are your original concept (not from our brief)
Are created using our existing content library
Are launched and tested on Meta
Demonstrate strong performance relative to our benchmarks
Ads edited strictly from provided briefs are paid at the standard rate and are not eligible for the bonus.
