Video Editor with some graphic design skills
 
Hi!
I am a YouTuber that creates wellness and travel content for women in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, residing in North America.
 
I'm looking to hire a versatile VA to assist me with the following tasks

- Editing full length YouTube videos and creating YouTube shorts/TikToks from the long videos as well as original short videos

- Simple graphic design work, such as thumbnails and PDF creation

- Sending in a daily report:  on project status and hours worked

Salary:

$5 / hour

Part-time hours to start - 5 hours per week / 20 hours per month are guaranteed. However, sometimes I may have additional hours to give you, depending on the week.

Flexible schedule (I generally ask you to be available Monday-Friday but I’m always open to you taking one of these days off as long as we discuss it in advance)

Long term opportunities (more hours available as business grows, I am hoping to work with someone who will grow with me as the business grows)

Work from home or anywhere you have reliable internet

Required skills:

- Good spoken English and excellent written English

- Editing skills and experience. I’m open to different editing programs that you may be comfortable with. Ideally you have some experience with YouTube videos but I am willing to train you in the style that I need. But some experience in this area is a must.

- Creativity and a sense of storytelling. Since we’ll be creating a lot of content together, I do need a creative thinker, although I will also give you a lot of instruction and guidance on how I would like the video to look.

- A reliable computer and internet connection. Sometimes the files for longer videos can be quite large and it’s important that you have a computer that can handle this.

- Positive energy!

- Organizational Skills and a Willingness to Learn. Sometimes I may need to give you constructive feedback, but it will always be with respect. But I do need someone that is open to feedback so that we can create the best results together.

- Familiar with social media, TikTok and Instagram especially

- Comfortable using Canva

- The ability to communicate clearly and professionally through email and WhatsApp

- Willingness to work together to solve/troubleshoot any problems. I try to always be friendly and easy to work with and I would like to work with a VA who is also pleasant and open to constructive feedback. ??

Desirable but not essential

- SEO skills
- Copywriting
- Some LinkedIn skills would be nice but not necessary
