Job Description:
-Schedule appointment correctly: review appointment date, time, and location
-Inform caller of items to bring to appointment (including insurance card, medications etc)
-Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the organization
-Document billing/insurance information in systems
-Document all correspondences
-Document all calls
-Handle Emails as assigned
-Demonstrate empathy and decrease customer tension
-Use sound judgment in handling calls, especially with upset patients
-Understanding of when to escalate calls to physicians
-Other duties as assigned
-Willing to be trained
-Willing to work graveyard shift (working hours is from 8:30pm-5am, Mon to Fri)
