Full-Time Nightlife Content Editor (Reels, Video & Graphics)

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Content Editor Virtual Assistant to support the social media and content output of a busy nightclub and events brand in Australia.

This role is content-first.

Your primary responsibility is editing high-energy nightlife content — short-form videos, reels, stories, and graphics — that capture the atmosphere of parties, DJs, crowds, and events.

If you do not have experience editing nightclub, party, or event content, this role is not a good fit.

This Role Is Content-First (Important)

This is not a general marketing VA role.

The priority is:

Video editing for Reels / Shorts / TikTok

Nightclub-style graphics and story content

Turning raw footage into engaging social content

Everything else is secondary.

Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities (Core Focus)

Editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Stories

Cutting long event footage into multiple short clips

Adding subtitles, captions, emojis, and effects

Editing fast-paced, high-energy nightlife content

Creating simple but bold graphics for events, stories, and promos

Formatting content correctly for each platform

Secondary Responsibilities (Support Tasks)

Organising photos and videos in Google Drive

Tracking content in a content calendar

Preparing content for scheduling

Following briefs and deadlines provided by the marketing team

(No paid ads management. No strategy required.)

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)

To be considered, you must have:

Experience editing nightclub, party, DJ, festival, or live event content

Strong short-form video editing skills (Reels/TikTok style)

Ability to edit content that feels energetic, modern, and social-first

Experience using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar

Basic graphic design ability (Canva or similar)

If you only have corporate, fitness, real estate, or talking-head content — do not apply.
