Full-Stack Web & Mobile Application Developer (Virtual Assistant)

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Web & Mobile Application Developer VA to design, build, maintain, and optimize our websites, mobile applications, and custom plugins that integrate seamlessly with our existing platforms.

This role requires someone who can independently develop, problem-solve, and scale digital systems while working closely with management and other departments.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Website Development
• Build, customize, and maintain websites (front-end & back-end)
• Optimize site performance, speed, and responsiveness
• Implement UI/UX improvements
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs
• Maintain security and data integrity

Mobile App Development
• Develop and maintain iOS and Android mobile applications
• Ensure apps are compatible across devices and OS versions
• Connect mobile apps to website back-end systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues

Custom Plugin & Integration Development
• Design and build custom plugins for websites (Shopify, WordPress, custom stacks)
• Configure plugins to integrate with:
• Payment systems
• Inventory management
• Customer accounts
• Marketing & analytics tools
• Maintain, update, and document plugins
• Ensure plugins are scalable and secure


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills
• Strong experience with:
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• PHP and/or Python
• REST APIs & Webhooks
• Experience with:
• Shopify app/plugin development (major plus)
• WordPress plugin development
• Mobile app frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, etc.)
• Database management (MySQL, Firebase, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Git/version control
• Hosting environments & server management

Soft Skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Clear communication in English
• Organized and deadline-driven
• Comfortable working in EST time zone


PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience building internal business tools
• Experience with e-commerce integrations
• UI/UX design sense
• Knowledge of automation tools (Zapier, webhooks, cron jobs)
• Experience scaling systems for growth
