React Native Developer

We are building a modern, enterprise-grade restaurant Point of Sale (POS) system from the ground up. Our platform runs on Android tablets (React Native/Expo) and includes a web-based admin dashboard (Next.js). We're looking for a skilled React Native developer to join our core team.
What you'll work on:

Building tablet-based POS screens: order management, table management, payment processing
Implementing offline-first architecture so the app works without internet
Integrating with payment terminals and receipt printers
Real-time data synchronization with our Supabase backend
Creating smooth, responsive UI with 60fps animations optimized for touch

Requirements:

2+ years experience with React Native and Expo
Strong TypeScript skills
Experience with Zustand, TanStack Query, or similar state management libraries
Comfortable styling with NativeWind or Tailwind CSS
Understanding of offline data persistence and sync patterns
Reliable internet and able to overlap with US Eastern time zone for standups

Nice to have:

Experience building POS, fintech, or restaurant technology
Supabase or PostgreSQL experience
Android hardware integration (Intents, SDKs)
Familiarity with Clerk authentication
