We are a small business led by a Technical Founder and CEO who is focused on high level strategy and development. We are growing fast, but our leadership team does not have the time to manage every single task or person.
We need a middleman to step in, take control of the daily operations, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
The Mission We need a Chief of Staff who thrives on getting things done. Your role is simple but critical: you stand between the CEO/CMO and the rest of the team.
You will interface with leadership daily, take a list of 30+ priorities, and immediately figure out who needs to do them. Then, you will make sure they actually get done. If we don't have the person to do the task, you will go out and hire them (with the approval of the CEO).
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
Daily Delegation & Execution: You will meet with the CEO and CMO to review the daily "To Do" list. Your job is to summarize these needs, extend them into clear instructions, and delegate them to the right staff members immediately.
Staff Management & Accountability: You are the one holding the team accountable. You will manage the developers, marketers, and admin staff to ensure they are hitting their deadlines. You are responsible for making sure the CEO does not fall behind.
Hiring the Workforce: We have many needs (Marketing, Tech, Finance). You will write the job descriptions, vet the candidates, and hire the experts we need to complete our tasks. You must have the judgment to hire A Players who can deliver results.
System Organization: We need a better solution for organizing our contacts and tasks. You will be responsible for fixing our current workflow, implementing our custom CRM software, and keeping our data organized.
Who You Are (Required Skills)
Experienced People Manager: You have experience managing teams and delegating work. You know how to tell people what to do in a way that is clear, firm, and respectful.
Action Oriented: You are a "doer." When you are given a list of tasks, you don't ask 20 questions; you figure out how to get them solved.
Hyper Organized: You can handle a chaotic list of 30 different tasks without getting stressed. You are naturally structured and detail oriented.
High Aptitude: You are smart and quick. You can understand complex instructions from a technical CEO and translate them into simple tasks for staff.
Excellent English: Your communication is professional and flawless.
The Roles You Will Be Hiring & Managing You don't need to do these jobs, but you must hire and manage the people who do:
Tech: Full Stack Developers, AI Developers. Marketing: Social Media Managers (LinkedIn, FB, TikTok, etc.) &
Bonus Skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with coding.
