About Us
We run pay-per-call affiliate campaigns for pest control services in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Our ads appear on major publisher sites like NBC News, Bloomberg, MSN, and Weather Channel through native advertising platforms. We need consistent, high-quality creative assets to drive phone calls from homeowners dealing with pest problems.
The Role
We're looking for a creative editor who can produce editorial-style images and commercial videos that blend naturally with news content while driving strong click-to-call conversions.
Weekly Deliverables:
5-10 static images optimized for native ad platforms
1 short video (maximum 45 seconds) with compelling call-to-action
What You'll Create
Static Images:
Editorial-style visuals that match news site aesthetics
Pest-specific creatives (rodents, bed bugs, termites, mosquitoes, wildlife)
Localized messaging targeting DFW homeowners
3-4 variations per pest type for A/B testing
Videos:
Maximum 45 seconds with strong urgency
Commercial-use stock footage only
Clear call-to-action driving phone calls (not website clicks)
Professional editing with text overlays and branding
Seasonal themes matching our quarterly campaigns
Campaign Focus by Quarter
Q1 (Now): Rodents, bed bugs, wildlife seeking shelter
Q2: Termites, mosquitoes, ants (peak season)
Q3: Roaches, scorpions, spiders (summer heat)
Q4: Rodents and wildlife return
Requirements
Must Have:
2+ years creating assets for native ad platforms (Taboola, Outbrain, MGID)
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent (Canva Pro, CapCut, Premiere)
Experience sourcing and licensing stock media (Shutterstock, Storyblocks, Getty, Envato)
Understanding of native ad specs and platform requirements
Strong headline integration skills
Ability to create urgency without violating platform policies
Preferred:
Experience in home services, pest control, or local lead generation
Familiarity with pay-per-call or affiliate marketing compliance
Previous geo-targeted campaign work
Creative Direction
Your assets will support headlines like:
"Dallas Homeowners: Rodents Are Invading Attics This Winter"
"The Bed Bug Warning Signs Dallas Residents Miss"
"5 Signs Termites May Be Eating Your Dallas Home"
"Take Back Your Backyard: DFW Mosquito Season Is Here"
"Hearing Scratching in Your Walls? Here's What DFW Contractors Say"
The tone is informative but urgent. We're a referral service connecting homeowners with licensed contractors—not a pest control company directly.
Non-Negotiables
Human-created content only – Absolutely no AI-generated images or videos
Commercial licensing – All stock media must be cleared for paid advertising use
Weekly consistency – Must reliably deliver assets on schedule
Iteration willingness – Be ready to adjust based on performance data
Compensation
Contract/freelance basis
Approximately 10-15 hours per week
Open to per-asset pricing or weekly retainer
Ongoing engagement with potential to scale as campaigns grow
