Marketing & Outreach Assistant
Starting Rate: $6.5/hour
Hours: 10 hrs/week
Working time: Flexible schedule except you must be available on days/times when the stand-up call is scheduled

Responsibilities:
• Social media posting using SocialPilot (easy to learn)
• Blog publishing: upload and post blog content in WordPress and a second platform (Ibotta/HubSpot) — you must be knowledgeable in at least one
•
• Content creation support (often simple/seasonal content such as holiday posts)
• E-newsletter management + ad tracking:
• Review newsletters and identify advertisers (prospects)
• Maintain a spreadsheet with company name + newsletter details + what they ran (ads/webinars/sponsorships, etc.)
• Track who is spending how much / how frequently (when info is available)
Prospect Research:
• Visit company websites and LinkedIn
• Find relevant contacts (sales/marketing leadership, CEO/COO, etc.) for outreach
• Keep the spreadsheet clean, updated, and organized
Writing & research support:
• Find recent news or regulatory updates related to caregivers/care providers
• Draft short write-ups and send for review
• Use AI tools effectively and review/edit outputs for quality and accuracy
• Ensure the angle stays relevant to care-providing services and our target market
Preferred Experience & Skills:
• Experience with ActiveCampaign (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with Zoho, Mailchimp, and/or HubSpot (especially CRM “Deals” modules and basic automation setup)
• Comfortable working with databases, tags, segmentation, and keeping contact data clean
• Strong internet research skills and good judgment for identifying high-quality sources
• Basic content formatting skills for WordPress/HubSpot (headings, links, featured image, meta basics)
Stretch Goals/responsibilities
• Propose improvements to our content workflow,
• Help build repeatable systems (templates, checklists, and simple automation ideas) as you ramp ups
