About the Project
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Website Designer/Developer to support a phased website build and optimization project. This is not a full redesign. The goal is to improve clarity, conversion readiness, and structure using the existing theme, branding, and content, with the option to expand into a second phase once Phase 1 is successfully completed.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how to work efficiently, respects scope, and can execute cleanly without overengineering.
Project Overview
Phase 1 – Website Structure & Conversion Readiness
Focus: execution, speed, and clarity
Build and/or refine key pages within the existing WordPress site
Work within the current theme and layout system (no redesign)
Implement conversion pages and navigation updates
Ensure mobile responsiveness and clean formatting
Prepare the site for future SEO and growth (without ongoing SEO services)
Phase 1 Pages (Estimated 5–6 total):
About Page
Speaker / Author / Thought Leader Page
Conversion Pages (e.g., Reset, Career Pivot, Career Pathways, Executive Coaching)
Phase 2 – Optimization & Expansion (Optional)
Phase 2 may include:
Additional conversion pages
UX improvements based on performance
SEO optimization or coordination with SEO vendor
Funnel refinement and integrations
Ongoing site maintenance (optional)
Phase 2 will be scoped and priced separately.
Key Responsibilities
Build pages directly in WordPress using the existing theme
Reuse existing layouts, components, and styling where appropriate
Implement client-provided content accurately
Integrate provided tools and embeds (Stripe checkout links,
Ensure full responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile
Add pages to site navigation as directed
Work in a staging environment and deploy after approval
Communicate progress clearly and meet agreed timelines
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with WordPress (theme-based builds)
Ability to work within an existing design system
Experience building conversion-focused pages
Clean, organized execution (no unnecessary custom work)
Strong communication and responsiveness
Ability to follow scope and phased delivery plans
Tools & Tech (Experience Preferred)
WordPress (Salient or similar premium themes)
Page builders associated with the existing theme
Stripe checkout links

Scheduling embeds (Acuity, Calendly, etc.)

Ability to translate client-provided content into clean layouts
