JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing U.S.-based healthcare clinic looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to help support patient communication, scheduling, and care coordination. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working in a professional healthcare environment, this role is for you.

Schedule: Full-time
Work Hours: Must be available during U.S. daytime business hours

COMPENSATION:
Starting rate: $4.50 USD/hour
Increase to $5.00 USD/hour after 3 months based on performance and reliability

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the main point of contact for patients via phone, email, SMS, and patient portal

Assist with new patient intake and guide patients through onboarding

Schedule appointments, send reminders, and follow up with patients

Help with insurance verification and prior authorizations

Coordinate communication between patients and clinical providers

Maintain accurate and HIPAA-compliant documentation in EHR and other systems

Provide general administrative support for patient care operations

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office, healthcare support role, or virtual medical assistant position

Excellent spoken and written English with a professional and friendly phone manner

Experience contacting patients, medical offices, or insurance companies

Familiarity with EHR systems, scheduling platforms, and patient portals

Understanding of HIPAA/privacy practices in healthcare

Organized, dependable, and able to multitask

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Quiet home workspace

Reliable computer (Windows or Mac)

Stable high-speed internet

Ability to work during U.S. daytime hours consistently

Experience in mental health, behavioral health, or social services

Experience with insurance verification or medical billing support

Prior work with U.S. clinics or telehealth practices
