JOB OVERVIEW

About Us

We are a UK-based charity supporting families with babies and young children during times of hardship. Like many charities, we’ve faced funding and operational challenges and are now entering a 90-day recovery and rebuild phase.

We’re looking for a calm, organised, and proactive Online Business Manager to help us stabilise income, coordinate volunteers, and put simple systems in place so our local services can restart safely.

About the Role

This is a strategic coordination role, not a hands-on “do everything” job.

Your main responsibility is to recruit, organise, and support volunteer project managers to run three key income streams:

GoFundMe crisis appeal

eBay / online sales

Charity bucket collections

You’ll also support a UK-based Local Baby Bank Manager and ensure the charity has clear systems, reporting, and weekly financial visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit and coordinate volunteer project managers for fundraising pipelines

Set clear targets, timelines, and weekly check-ins

Support recruitment and onboarding of the Local Baby Bank Manager

Streamline systems for reporting, referrals, and volunteer coordination

Track weekly KPIs and cashflow and report to senior leadership

Keep everything organised, documented, and realistic.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Strong English communication (written and spoken)

Experience in operations, coordination, admin management, or non-profit work

Confident using Google Docs, Sheets, WhatsApp, Zoom

Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure

Desirable (not required):

Charity or fundraising experience

Experience managing volunteers or remote teams

Why This Role Is Different

Clear structure and expectations

Supportive leadership (you won’t be left alone)

Meaningful impact during a critical recovery phase

Long-term potential beyond the crisis period
