Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant

Hours: 15–25 hours/week to start (potential to grow)
Pay: $5–$7/hour (based on experience)
Tools: QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets, Slack, Gmail
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant to support the CEO and CFO with accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting.

About the Role
This role supports day-to-day bookkeeping and finance operations.
You will be working closely with leadership and must be highly organized, accurate, and comfortable handling sensitive financial information.
This is a long-term role for someone who values clean books and consistency.

Responsibilities
Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
Maintain accurate records of expenses and income
Assist with monthly financial reports
Track accounts payable and receivable
Organize receipts and supporting documents
Communicate clearly with the CEO/CFO on discrepancies

KPIs (How Success Is Measured)
Accuracy of reconciliations
Timeliness of monthly close tasks
Clean and consistent chart of accounts
Ability to flag issues proactively
