JOB OVERVIEW

ZebraSite Studios specializes in providing affordable, high-quality websites and digital marketing to nonprofits in the rare disease community—organizations working to support patients and families living with rare diseases.

We're launching a new Google Ads service to specifically help nonprofit organizations with their Google Ads campaigns, analytics, reporting, and ongoing support. We’ll also manage their Google Ad Grants that they often use. The rules of the program are strict and there is an opportunity to help a lot of people.

Right now, we don’t offer Google Ads at all, so we need someone to help us build this service from the ground up. We’ll need help putting together internal documents like checklists, reporting templates, set up tools, workflows, etc. We’re not just looking for someone to help us get going though, we want you to stick around with the team and manage these accounts for us.

The job description:

- Assist clients with Google Grants applications (or take over suspended accounts)
- Conduct keyword research specific to rare disease conditions and patient needs
- Structure campaigns with proper ad groups and targeting
- Write compelling ad copy that drives clicks and conversions
- Monitor performance weekly: CTR, quality scores, conversion tracking
- Optimize campaigns: add negative keywords, test ad variations, adjust bids (within Google Grants restrictions)
- Ensure ongoing policy compliance (5% CTR requirement, $2 max CPC, landing page quality)
- Produce monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations

SEO Support: Assist with occasional SEO optimization projects for client websites.

There will likely also be paid Google Ads campaigns we take on for some of our for-profit clients, as well. That work will not involve Google Ad Grants.

We need you to have:

- 1-3 years of digital marketing experience with Google Ads, SEO, and familiarity with WordPress
- Google Ads certification (or ability to complete within first 30 days)
- Excellent written English — You'll be writing the first draft of ad copy and client reports. Your writing must be clear, compelling, and error-free.
- We work closely together as a team, so good communication, a positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and humble integrity are requirements.

What We're NOT Looking For

- Someone who needs constant supervision or task-by-task direction
- A "know-it-all" personality (We don't know everything, and neither do you. We value honesty about what you know and don't know)
- Poor written communication (if your application has grammar errors or unclear writing, it won't move forward)
- People looking for a temporary gig (we want to build a long-term relationship of at least 18 months)

What We Provide

- Starting: $800/month for full-time work
- Professional development: The things you learn working for us will help you accel in the future, and we’re excited to help you get there.
- Stable, long-term contractor relationship paid in regular intervals via Wise
- Potential for additional raises and bonuses as the business scales
- Onboarding kit and a process to get you oriented to the work and team
- Training resources for Google Grants (If not already achieved, we would like you to become certified in Google Grants through Google’s free courses after you begin)
- Templates and frameworks to set you up for success
- Constant email and instant message availability to support you
- Collaborative team environment (you'll work alongside our WordPress developer based in the Philippines)

Work Environment

- Fully remote: Work from anywhere
- Flexible schedule: As long as work is completed on time and you're responsive during our core communication hours
- Meaningful work — Your campaigns will help rare disease organizations reach patients and families who desperately need support and information
- Ownership — You're building these systems. Your ideas and improvements are valued.
