Short Form Content Editor/Assistant

We’re hiring a reliable Short-Form Video Editor + Virtual Assistant to support multiple clients across different niches. This role is part-time to start, with the opportunity to grow into more hours as you prove consistency and quality.

What you’ll do

1) Short-form video editing (primary)
• Edit content optimized for Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts (15–90 seconds)
• Add captions, emojis, zooms, b-roll, sound effects, and music
• Match pacing and style to the client’s brand
• Export in the correct formats (9:16, high quality, platform-ready)
2) Content research + idea generation
• Research competitors and trends in different niches (depends on the client)
• Find high-performing content examples and break down why they work
• Generate content ideas + hooks (and organize them clearly)
3) Assistant / operations support
• Organize content systems in Notion
• Help with simple tasks in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Basic Instagram DM management (responding, labeling, organizing, tracking)
• Keep things organized and on schedule
Required skills
• Strong short-form editing ability + good taste (pacing, storytelling, retention)
• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Instagram Edits
• Comfortable working inside Notion
• Comfortable using Google Docs / Sheets / Drive
• Able to do independent research (not just “random ideas” — real research)
• Great communication, fast turnaround, attention to detail
• Fluent English
Bonus skills (not required, but appreciated)
• Basic understanding of viral concepts and formats
• Understanding of hooks, retention editing, and viral structure
• Familiarity with multiple niches (fitness, business, combat sports, real estate, etc.)
