JOB OVERVIEW

Let me be honest with you for a second.

I built this business from scratch. I handle the product, the tech, the ads, the customer service, the fulfillment — all of it. But there's one thing I've never been great at, and it's the one thing that matters most in 2026: video content.

I need help. Real help. Not someone who sends me a Canva template and calls it a day. I need a person who can take my raw phone footage and turn it into the kind of content that makes someone stop scrolling, watch the whole thing, and then go "wait, I need this for my pet."

**What We Do:**
We run an e-commerce brand in the custom pet portrait niche. Customers upload a photo of their pet, we transform it into custom artwork (royal portraits, superheroes, pop art, Renaissance style, you name it), and we deliver it digitally or as a premium framed print shipped to their door. We're running paid ads on Meta right now and they're working — our best video ad is pulling a 9%+ click-through rate. I need more content like that.

**What I Need From You:**

**Video (this is 80% of the job):**
- Edit short-form videos from raw clips I record on my phone
- Before/after pet transformation reveals (these go viral)
- Product showcase videos — showing the framed prints, the unboxing experience
- Ad creatives — hooks that grab attention in under 2 seconds, with clear CTAs
- Captions and subtitles on everything
- Platform-native content for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook ads
- Multiple versions of the same concept for A/B testing our ads

**Graphics (this is the other 20%):**
- Static ad images when we need them
- Social media post graphics
- Thumbnails for videos
- Simple things — nothing that requires a design degree

**What I Value:**
- Speed over perfection. Done and posted beats perfect and sitting on your desktop.
- Someone who watches what's trending and brings ideas to the table without being asked
- Reliability. If you say Tuesday, I expect Tuesday.
- Direct communication. If something's unclear, ask. If you're running behind, tell me. No ghosting.

**What I Don't Want:**
- Agencies. I want one person. You.
- Someone who needs a 10-page creative brief for a 15-second video
- Over-produced, sterile content. We're a fun brand in the pet space, not a law firm.

**The Offer:**
- Part-time: 15-20 hours per week
- $500/month USD
- Paid monthly
- Flexible hours — We can discuss hours
- Long-term — this isn't a trial project. I need a long term player in this.
- Communication: Slack or WhatsApp (I'm EST timezone, but I'm flexible)

**The Bigger Picture:**
If we click and the business keeps growing (which it is), there's room for this role to expand. Could eventually include things like helping process orders, managing our social media calendar, or coordinating fulfillment. But right now — video, video, video. That's the priority.

**How to Apply:**

Read this carefully — it's how I filter applications:

1. Email me at ---------- with subject: "Video Editor - [Your Name]"
2. Include your OnlineJobs.ph profile link (required)
3. Attach or link to 2-3 examples of short-form video edits you've done. I want to see TikTok/Reels-style content. If you only have long-form or corporate work, that's probably not the right fit for this role.
4. Tell me: What editing software do you use? How many hours per week can you realistically commit?
5. One honest sentence about why you want this gig.

**Non-negotiable:** All hiring goes through a video interview. I need to see your face, hear your voice, and have a real conversation before I bring anyone onto my team. If you're not comfortable with a 15-minute video call, please don't apply.

I'm not looking for the cheapest option. I'm looking for the right person. If that's you, hit me up.
