JOB OVERVIEW

We are a U.S.-based law firm hiring a part-time legal receptionist. Your job is to answer inbound calls, collect information, and schedule callers with our senior intake specialist. This is not a sales role and you will not provide legal advice.

WORK SCHEDULE
The receptionist will work from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Central Time (25 hours per week).
You will be trained by our current senior intake specialist and will work closely with our team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Answer incoming phone calls-
The most important responsibility is answering calls promptly and professionally. Callers are often dealing with stressful housing or landlord-tenant issues, so a calm, warm, and confident phone presence is essential.

-Collect caller information-
You will gather contact details and a brief summary of the issue so our senior intake specialist can take over the next step.

-Schedule callers with our senior intake specialist-
In most cases, your job will be to schedule the caller for a follow-up call with our senior intake specialist.

-Enter notes into our CRM (Pipedrive)-
You will log call details and scheduling information accurately.

-Additional support tasks during downtime-
Because call volume is manageable (typically 10 to 15 calls per day), there will be downtime. We may assign additional tasks depending on your skills and interests, such as light administrative support, follow-up reminders, or organization projects.

REQUIREMENTS
The following skills and characteristics are required:

-Excellent written and spoken English
This role is heavily phone-based, and clear communication is essential.

-Warm, professional, and friendly personality
You should be able to make callers feel comfortable and respected.

-Reliable and consistent
We are looking for someone dependable who takes the role seriously and communicates well with our team.

-Strong attention to detail
Accurate scheduling and note-taking are critical. In your application, please include the term “Listening builds trust.” Applications that do not include this phrase will not be considered.

- Excellent internet connection and a quiet place to work
You must have a stable connection and a professional home environment without distracting background noise.

- Comfort with basic software
You should be comfortable using email, calendars, and web-based tools. Familiarity with RingCentral or Pipedrive is helpful but not required. We will train the right person.

- Works well with others
This role requires collaboration and a positive attitude. We value tea ---------- mbers who ask questions and want to improve.

PAY RATE
$525 per month, (equivalent to about $5/hour for 25 hours/week), paid weekly via Wise or another agreed-upon method.

BENEFITS
We provide a 13th month bonus (equal to the average of one month’s pay, prorated for partial years).
Vacation and sick time can be requested but are not paid.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
You must supply your own computer and reliable high-speed internet. Your computer must be capable of running VOIP software, video conferencing, and modern web applications.
