Social Media Manager and Assistant

We are looking for a highly organised, fast-moving, and proactive Social Media Manager and Assistant to support a growing comedy, lifestyle, beauty, and advocacy brand with a large online audience.

This role is not passive. You must be someone who takes initiative, spots gaps before being told, and understands that speed, accuracy, and consistency are non-negotiable in creator-led businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Content execution and distribution
Plan, schedule, upload, and cross-post content consistently across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube without reminders
Ensure all content is posted on time and formatted correctly per platform

Editing and creative support
Complete light edits quickly using CapCut or Canva
Turn around edits efficiently and flag delays in advance
Assist with captions, hooks, and on-screen text that align with brand voice

Community management
Actively manage DMs and comments daily
Respond thoughtfully and consistently to maintain audience trust and engagement
Escalate priority messages without being prompted

Organisation and operations
Maintain a clear and up-to-date content calendar
Track deliverables, deadlines, and repost schedules independently
Support inbox management, reminders, and scheduling

Growth and performance
Monitor trends, sounds, and formats proactively
Track analytics and produce clear weekly performance summaries
Identify what is working and suggest improvements

Brand and collaboration support
Assist with influencer and brand outreach
Coordinate collaborations and keep communication organised

Requirements

Proven experience managing social media for creators or brands
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube algorithms and best practices
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Clear written communication in English
Comfortable working in a fast-paced creator environment
Experience with Canva and CapCut required
Experience with analytics, repost strategies, or brand outreach preferred

Work Schedule and Compensation

20 to 30 hours per week with room to grow
Remote role with overlap with UK hours preferred
Pay negotiable based on experience
