Job Description
I’m looking for a reliable video editor to help with documentary-style crime storytelling videos for YouTube.
This is not fast-paced social media editing.
The style is calm, structured, and documentary-focused.
What the role involves
• Editing long-form YouTube videos (approximately 15 to 20 minutes)
• Assembling visuals to match a provided narration or structure
• Following very specific instructions and repeatable workflows
Editing expectations
These videos must show clear human editing effort and intentional visual design, such as:
• captions or on-screen text
• light sound effects where appropriate
• basic text or profile animations for names, ages, and case details
This is clean, documentary-style editing, not flashy or over-edited content.
Tools and software
Experience with the following is a plus:
• ElevenLabs
• Nano Banana Pro
• VEO 3.1

Pay and trial
• $3 per hour
• Paid test run required before long-term work
• Trial is paid at the same hourly rate
