The Opportunity
Michigan Prime Shine is a fast-growing residential cleaning company in Metro Detroit, and we're looking for a high-ownership Virtual Assistant who wants real responsibility, real upside, and real autonomy.
This isn't a script-reading support role. You'll be closing inbound leads, managing the booking pipeline, supporting cleaner hiring, and keeping operations running smoothly. You'll have ownership over conversations that directly impact revenue, and you'll earn accordingly.
If you can close confidently while thinking operationally, you'll thrive here. Cleaning industry experience helps, but what matters most is your ability to balance sales instincts with operational precision.
What You'll Own
Close inbound cleaning leads over the phone with U.S.-based clients. Quote jobs accurately across standard cleans, deep cleans, move-ins/move-outs, and add-ons. Set clear expectations so clients know exactly what they're getting and cleaners know exactly what to deliver.
Coordinate bookings with our cleaning teams, support cleaner hiring from posting to screening to follow-up, and assist with onboarding and communication. Keep our CRM (BookingKoala) organized and track your own performance—bookings, conversions, quality.
This role works because you're thinking three steps ahead: what the client needs, what the cleaner can deliver, and how to make both sides run smoothly.
What Makes You a Fit
You're a strong communicator who can close without being pushy. You're organized and detail-oriented because you know bad data creates bad outcomes. You can juggle bookings, hiring tasks, and follow-ups without dropping balls.
Cleaning or home-service experience is a major plus. Reliable internet and a quiet workspace are non-negotiable. You're available 40 hours/week with 8 hour shifts within an 8am–8pm EST window. We're looking for 7 day availability as the team is small and may require flexibility time to time.
Most importantly, you want ownership. You don't need someone watching over your shoulder, you want to be trusted to run your part of the business.
Pay Structure (Designed for Performance)
Base hourly rate included - pending your experience levels
Commission: $10–$40+ per confirmed booking
Bonuses: Quality, consistency, and reliability
Strong performers earn significantly more than base. You're rewarded for closing well AND keeping operations tight. The better you get, the more you make.
This Probably Isn't Right If…
You just want to close and move on without caring what happens next. You prefer narrow, scripted roles over operational ownership. You need constant oversight or heavy hand-holding.
