Sales Representative (Cold Calling, Lead Generation & Appointment Setter) – Cleaning Business

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and results-driven individual to support our *residential and commercial cleaning business*. This role focuses on *outbound cold calling, lead generation, inbound call handling, and scheduling walkthroughs and cleanings*.

The ideal candidate is organized, confident on the phone, sales-minded, and able to follow systems and instructions closely. If you have experience with cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation—and enjoy helping a growing cleaning company—we’d love to hear from you.

This position starts *part-time*, with the opportunity to grow based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound cold calls to commercial businesses (healthcare facilities, offices, apartments, etc.)
- Follow provided call scripts and present current promotions when applicable
- Generate and qualify leads for both residential and commercial cleaning services
- Collect and verify email addresses from interested prospects
- Schedule walkthroughs for commercial prospects when required
- Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally
- Send quotes and/or schedule residential clients using **BookingKoala**
- Follow up with leads via callbacks and email
- Accurately update lead status (called, not interested, follow-up needed, email sent, scheduled, etc.)
- Return missed inbound calls in a timely manner
- Keep all call activity organized, transparent, and up to date

Daily Expectations (Very Important)

- Minimum of 90+ outbound calls per shift
- Calls must be made consistently, without long gaps between calls
- Research per lead should take no more than 2–3 minutes
- Honest and accurate reporting of calls made (call logs are monitored)
- Follow-up is just as important as calling — emails and callbacks are required
- This is an hourly role, so full productivity is expected during scheduled hours

Work Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
- Includes *one 30-minute unpaid break*
- 5.5 paid hours per day

Compensation

- $4 USD per hour
- Paid biweekly (every two weeks) based on total hours worked
- Commissions available
- Performance-based bonuses
- Growth potential with increased hours and pay based on results and consistency

Requirements

- Fluent or advanced English (spoken)
- Proven experience with **cold calling or appointment setting** (required)
- Comfortable speaking with **US-based businesses and clients**
- Strong work ethic and excellent time management
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to feedback
- Stable internet connection and quiet workspace
- Comfortable using CRMs, spreadsheets, or booking systems
- Ability to learn and use **BookingKoala** for quotes and scheduling

Preferred (Nice to Have)

- Experience in *lead generation* (big plus)
- Previous experience working with a *cleaning service or janitorial company*
- Understanding of *residential and/or commercial cleaning services*
- Experience calling healthcare facilities or commercial accounts
- Background in sales, appointment setting, or customer service
- Previous experience working with US clients
