Job Overview:
We are a leader in luxury shade structure design and outdoor living solutions based in South Florida. We work with high-end commercial clients (hotels, parks, restaurants) and residential properties to create custom shade solutions.
We are looking for an experienced WordPress web developer to improve, fix, and potentially fully redesign our current website.
Our current site is functional but requires significant updates to match the premium quality of our work. We need a modern, visually striking, and high-performance website that showcases our portfolio effectively.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work:
Visual Redesign: Update the UI/UX to a modern, clean, and luxury aesthetic. The site needs to visually represent high-end architecture and design.
Speed & Performance Optimization: The current website is slow. We need a developer who can perform a deep audit to identify bottlenecks and significantly improve page load times and Core Web Vitals.
Portfolio Showcase: Create a dynamic and easy-to-update project gallery to showcase our past work with high-resolution images.
Mobile Responsiveness: Ensure the site is fully responsive and looks perfect on all devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
Navigation: Simplify the menu structure for a better user journey (currently, the navigation is text-heavy).
SEO: Maintain current SEO rankings during the transition and implement best practices for the new design.
Required Skills:
- Expert proficiency in WordPress (custom themes and page builders like Elementor/Divi/WPBakery).
- Strong UI/UX design skills (experience with luxury or architectural brands is a plus).
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Proven experience with speed optimization (caching, image compression, database optimization).
- Basic SEO knowledge.
