E-commerce Finance & Profit Analyst (Full-Time / Long-Term / Remote)
Job Overview
We run an e-commerce business and are looking for a reliable Finance & Profit Analyst to fully take over all financial calculations.
Your job is simple but very important:
All numbers must be correct.
Every week we receive a clear profit sheet.
If you are detail-oriented, strong with spreadsheets, and experienced with e-commerce numbers, this role is for you.
Your Main Responsibilities
• Calculate weekly profits (per store & total)
• Track and calculate all costs, including:
• Product cost (COGS)
• Advertising spend
• Payment processing fees
• Refunds & chargebacks
• Software/tools
• Handle VAT calculations (sales VAT, VAT payable)
• Create and maintain a weekly profit sheet
• Reconcile data from:
• Shopify / WooCommerce
• Stripe / PayPal
• Meta Ads / Google Ads
• Double-check all numbers for accuracy
• Report issues or unusual results immediately
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience with e-commerce finance, bookkeeping, or profit tracking
• Strong knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel
• Experience creating weekly profit reports
• Understanding of VAT / sales tax basics
• Very high attention to detail
• Able to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
• Good written English
Nice to Have (Big Plus)
• Shopify experience
• EU VAT experience
• Experience with ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok)
• Automation or dashboard experience
Working Hours & Pay
• Full-time (2 hours/week)
• Long-term position (not a short project)
• Salary: based on experience (please include your expected monthly salary)
