LONG TERM PART-TIME Social Media Design & General VA – Canva, CapCut & AI-Powered Content Creation

About the Role
Hi there! I’m Ariana, and I run several UK-based craft and hobby websites, including ArtyCraftyCrew, TheYarnCrew, and TheKnitCrew. We are a well-established business looking for a creative, long-term partner to help us bring our brands to life through beautiful visual storytelling.

You will be working closely with me and my Senior VA (based in the Philippines) to create eye-catching Pinterest pins, social media posters, and engaging short-form videos. While we provide templates and training, we need someone who has a "designer’s eye"—you should instinctively know what looks professional, balanced, and high-end.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Pinterest Design: Creating high-converting pins using our established templates and brand styles.
• Short-Form Video: Editing Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts using CapCut or Canva most of the time from templates.
• Content Creation: Creating social media posters and posts from scratch that align with our specific brand voices.
• AI Integration: Using AI tools to brainstorm captions, generate or enhance images, and streamline your workflow.
• General Admin: Light tasks like organizing files, uploading/downloading media, and updating spreadsheets.

What You Bring to the Table:
• Design Sense: You understand composition, color theory, and what makes a person stop scrolling.
• Tech Savvy: You are proficient in Canva and CapCut. Familiarity with AI tools (We use Gemini for text and image creation) is essential for this role.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English. You must be comfortable with weekly Microsoft Teams screen-sharing calls to sync with our Senior VA. Daily communication is a MUST to keep on top of tasks.
• Attention to Detail: You take pride in "pixel-perfect" work and catch the small mistakes before they go live.
• Reliability: You are looking for a long-term home. We want someone to grow with us over the coming years! Good work ethic is very important to me and my team as we rely on each other to finish tasks on time.

Requirements:
• A dedicated home office (no public spaces/cafes).
• A fast, reliable computer and high-speed internet is a MUST.
• Microsoft Teams PC and Mobile for quick daily communication.
• Willingness to learn and ask questions when stuck.

Interview Dates:
The first round of interviews are taking place Thursday (January 29, 2026) and Friday (January 30, 2026) 1pm - 9pm (Philippine Time) with my Senior VA, Seff, and if successful, you will have a final interview with me a few days later. The interview is going to be a video call on Microsoft Teams.

5. Insert the links to Tasks 1 and 2 in the email. Make sure the file is shared with Viewer access so we can see the tasks. Please see below the 2 tasks.

6. Task 1: Create 5 pins for the following roundup topic “11 Cute Crochet Cowboy Outfits For Boys”, using the images from this list of links ---------- . The topic is a listicle of crochet patterns, and that needs to be reflected in the pin design. Feel free to use inspiration from Pinterest and the help of AI when needed.
7. Task 2: Using the same images and information from the file ---------- , create 1 vertical video in Capcut that can be used on Tiktok and Instagram. The video must include captions and female voiceover generated by AI.
