Construction Estimator and Quantity Surveyor

Role: Estimating and Quantity Surveying

We will provide the jobs to measure and quote.
The projects will be a mix of both retention packages/basement construction and cut and fill jobs with compaction for building benches for childcares centres, aged care centres and schools.

Requirements-
Must be able to read and interpret geotechnical report.
Must be able to provide accurate quantities for concrete, steel and other items such as waterproofing, strip drains ect.
Must be able to provide total number of cubic metres of soil and the quantities of the different types of soil eg cleanfill, clay, siltstone basalt, sand ect.
Must able to able to use excel spread sheets.
Must be able to read and accurately interpret engineering for concrete MPA strengths, different steel thickness and ligatures ect.
Apply production rates (that we provide) to excavation works and cartage rates for material export.
Provide Markup drawings if and when required.

Initially to use own software for quantity surveying, if the applicant is successful in employment we will pay for another subscription to plan-swift for the employee to use.
