Insurance Claims Assistant

Marble Insurance is a Fire and General Insurance Brokerage based in New Zealand, proudly part of Australasia’s largest insurance broker network, Steadfast.

We are seeking a proactive, detail?oriented Virtual Insurance Claims Assistant to support our internal broker support and claims processes. This is a non–client?facing, admin-focused role ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and experience handling insurance claims.

What You’ll Do:
- Assist with end?to?end claims administration, including gathering information, updating claim files, preparing summaries, and coordinating internal follow?ups.
- Manage and maintain accurate claims records within the Steadfast Insight Platform (highly preferred experience).
- Support the claims support team with internal tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and follow?ups.
- Prepare and upload claim?related documentation (letters, forms, reports, notes).
- Perform general administrative support for the claims support teams.
- Perform any other designated tasks as directed by the Directors.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in AU/NZ insurance is preferred.
- Preferred background in: Automotive/Motor Claims, Liability Claims, Casualty Claim and Domestic (House & Contents) Claims.
- Familiarity with the Steadfast Insight Platform is highly preferred.
- Excellent written English and good oral English for internal communication.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow?through.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (typing test may be required).
- Reliable, proactive, honest, and able to work independently.
