JOB OVERVIEW

Within this position, you will be required to work directly with the Senior Accountants and the Company Director, providing high volume Bookkeeping and Administration Support. The position will suit an organized, highly motivated individual with a proactive nature.

The ideal candidate will be switched on and have the ability to work unsupervised. They will also have some tax exposure within a small/medium sized business and have previously worked within a bookkeeping role. The successful candidate will be computer literate and have previously used similar systems to MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiSoft and Xero.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:
• Payroll /Wage processing for over 250 employee’s through QBO;
• Data Entry;
• High volume invoice processing;
• Account Receivables;
• Accounts Payable;
• Liaising with clients in regards to invoices;
• Bank reconciliations;
• General office administration.
• Drafting and processing outward correspondence to the ATO;
• Monthly Bookkeeping for various small/medium businesses;
• General office administration

Experience / Qualifications Required:
• Relevant qualifications within Business Commerce: Accountings /Finance/ Tax;
• Attention to detail & time management skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience using MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiSoft and Xero.
• Intermediate Excel Skills;
• Must be a critical thinker;
• A passion for service;
• Motivation to develop and grow within a fast-moving environment.
