JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an E-commerce Ads Operations Assistant to support our Advertising & Account Management team across marketplace advertising platforms.

This is not a strategy-only role.
This position focuses on execution, daily performance monitoring, detailed reporting, operational support, and insight sharing, working closely with our Head of Advertising.

The ideal candidate is highly data-driven, detail-oriented, disciplined, and comfortable with repetitive daily reporting and performance checks.

PLATFORMS & SCOPE

Primary focus:
Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display)
Secondary focus:
eBay Ads
Walmart Ads
There are no responsibilities related to Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), or TikTok Ads for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily campaign-level performance tracking for each platform and each campaign
Preparing detailed Excel reports (Microsoft 365 Excel) and sharing them via Asana
Monitoring key metrics such as spend, sales, ROAS, ACoS, CVR, impressions, and budget utilization
Performing multiple daily checks when needed
Proactively flagging anomalies, risks, and performance drops (e.g., sudden ACoS spikes, budget exhaustion, sales drops)
Escalating critical issues immediately via Asana, WhatsApp, or phone when required
Executing assigned tasks based on the Ads Manager’s instructions
Editing and optimizing campaigns after approval; taking more responsibility over time
Creating campaigns once performance and trust are established
Delivering a weekly video report every Friday (5–8 minutes, screen share + voice) summarizing activities and performance
Weekly activity reporting and progress updates
Actively following industry publications, reports, newsletters, and educational content related to marketplace advertising
Analyzing relevant insights, trends, and platform updates and regularly sharing actionable findings with the advertising team

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Marketplace Advertising Experience
Strong hands-on experience with marketplace advertising, preferably 3+ years
Solid understanding of Amazon Ads structure and performance metrics
Experience with eBay and Walmart Ads is highly preferred

Data & Reporting
Advanced Excel skills (mandatory)
Must actively and daily use:
Pivot Tables
SUMIF / SUMIFS
XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP
Multi-platform performance tables
Proven experience creating detailed, structured daily performance reports

Tools & Systems (MUST HAVE)
Asana – daily task tracking, reporting, and ownership
Microsoft Teams – internal communication
Microsoft 365 Excel – advanced daily use
Advertising & Data Tools (Preferred)
Xnurta and/or Perpetua
Helium 10
Sellerboard

COMMUNICATION & WORK STYLE
Strong communication in English preferred
Comfortable working fully remote, full-time (40 hours/week)
Flexible working hours aligned with U.S. business hours
Comfortable with frequent reporting and structured workflows
Able to work under an Ads Manager and support execution without ego
Data-driven mindset: decisions and signals based on numbers, not opinions
Curious and proactive in staying up to date with industry developments

REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reports directly to the Head of Advertising / Account Manager
Daily reporting and task execution via Asana
Weekly performance reporting via video presentation
Clear task ownership and accountability

TRIAL PERIOD
Trial period: up to 30 days
Initial evaluation typically completed within 7–10 days
Full responsibilities expand after proven performance
